2. Pediatric Surgery

Undescended Testicle (Cryptorchidism)

• A condition in which one or both testicles do not descend normally into the scrotum. Surgical correction (orchiopexy) may be required, particularly when spontaneous descent has not occurred by around 6 months of age. Complex cases may require advanced or minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Hypospadias

• A congenital condition in which the urethral opening is located on the underside of the penis rather than at the tip. Surgical repair involves reconstructing the urethra and correcting the penile anatomy, with more complex cases requiring advanced reconstructive techniques.

Other Reconstructive Urologic Conditions

• A range of congenital and acquired urologic conditions may require reconstructive surgery in children and adults. Treatment can include conventional, minimally invasive, or robotic techniques, depending on the condition and individual anatomical requirements.

3. Da Vinci X Robotic Surgery

Seoul Asan S Urology Clinic performs conservative, minimally invasive robotic surgery using the advanced Da Vinci X surgical system, removing lesions through just a few small incisions. With Da Vinci X, the surgeon operates from an external console while the robotic arms and camera move and operate inside the patient's body.
