01. Women’s Health Screening
Shesmedi Hospital runs a dedicated Gynecology Center and Breast & Thyroid Center, staffed by OB/GYN specialists and a breast surgeon, for detailed gynecologic and breast screening.
Every program includes a one-on-one consultation with both an OB/GYN specialist and a breast surgeon.
BASIC I
The essential program. Ultrasound checks the uterus and ovaries for fibroids or cysts, and the breasts for structural changes or masses.

BASIC II
Adds mammography and cervical cancer screening. Cervicography magnifies and images the cervix to identify atypical or precancerous changes.
Korean national guidelines recommend cervical cancer screening every two years from age 20, and mammography every two years from age 40.

STANDARD

Expands into a general health check-up with blood tests, bone density, and a chest X-ray.

02. Gynecologic Robotic Laparoscopic Surgery
Advanced Da Vinci SP robotic surgery removes lesions precisely through a minimal incision. The surgeon controls the robotic arms remotely, so the medical team’s experience and skill determine the outcome.
The system is used for a range of gynecologic surgeries, including uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, and ovarian cysts. High-resolution 3D imaging and refined robotic technology support precise surgery.
- Hospital stay: 2–3 days
- Incision: Single-port surgery through one umbilical incision (2.7 cm), with minimal bleeding and scarring

03. Fertility & Obstetrics Center
Shesmedi Hospital is a designated hospital under the Korean government’s infertility support program and a licensed embryo-generating medical institution, with its own dedicated Fertility Center.
The center offers a wide range of fertility care, including fertility testing, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, and care for recurrent pregnancy loss.
The Fertility Center connects directly to the hospital’s delivery and postpartum care centers, so patients receive one-stop care from conception to childbirth.

Health screenings and outpatient visits are by appointment only.
Book through The Pylon Square at least one week before your preferred date, and your schedule and interpreter will be arranged in advance.
Shesmedi brings eight specialized centers together in one hospital, covering gynecology, breast and thyroid, fertility, obstetrics, postpartum care, pediatrics, child development, and internal medicine.
If your screening or consultation shows that further care is needed, you are referred to the relevant center within the same hospital, with no need to find another clinic.
At Shesmedi, you meet a specialist in the field you came for.
Fertility care is led by a reproductive endocrinology specialist, high-risk pregnancy by a physician trained in maternal-fetal medicine, laparoscopic and robotic surgery by the head of the Laparoscopic Surgery Center, and breast and thyroid care by a breast surgeon.
Every women’s health screening program also includes a one-on-one consultation with an OB/GYN specialist and a breast surgeon.
